It’s earlier than planned as we’ve already had so much interest in the boards. This is a unique opportunity to come down to the beach and try all our boards with no charge. You have the opportunity to feel the difference between a 29″ board and a 32″ board, a cruiser, a race board, a flatwater distance board. Looking at boards in a brochure and researching online can only take you so far – come down and feel it!

If you’re just wondering what the SUP fuss is all about then come on down and find out for free! You can have a quick paddle on all the boards and see for yourself just why this is the fastest-growing watersport.

It takes place on  Wednesday May 9 from 5:00p.m to 9:00p.m. at our rentals location in Deep Cove. We’ll have the following Starboard boards on the beach ready for you to take and paddle:

Cruiser  – 12’6” x 30”
Ace – 14’ x 25”
12’6” x 25”
Atlas – 12’ x 33”
Big Easy – 12’ x 32”
Blend – 11’2” x 30”
Whopper – 10’ x 34”
K-15 – 15’ x 30”
Astro inflatable

There will also be a range of demo paddles from Kialoa, Quickblade, and Werner (including the new bent shaft M1000). The Werners have to be felt to be believed – they’re the lightest paddle you’ll ever pick up.

UPDATE

We will have a THINK XO board for the demo night. They are brand new into the country! This will be your only opportunity to test ride this board as we won’t be adding one to our rental fleet. If you want to try a fast board, you must try this one. We’ve been out on it and we LOVE IT.
