BC’s newest Stand Up Paddle Board Race has $10,000 in prizes and will support Kids’ Mental Health
The Surrey Hospital & Outpatient Centre Foundation is hosting its inaugural Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) Race July 24, in support of kids’ mental health.
Champion of the Crescent, presented by EllisDon, will be held at Blackie Spit Park at Crescent Beach. There will be a 10KM Competitive Race, 5KM Recreational Race, Kid’s Race, Corporate Relay, as well as a SUP Exhibition and Family Activity Zone. The competitive race will have $10,000 in prize money, the largest in Canada, to be won. Participants in the recreational race will be entered to win a trip for two to the legendary Atlantis Resorts, including round trip airfare & 7 nights’ accommodation in the Bahamas.

An introduction to SUP Yoga in a truly relaxing setting. Blackie Spit has amazing views of Mud Bay and the North Shore mountains. Join us for
a sample class where you will be provided with the skills and knowledge of the moving mat to take your yoga on to the water. Led by fully
certified Paddle Canada and SUPYoga Instructors from Stand Up Paddle Vancouver.
