Kalavida hosts 3rd Annual Eagle Run Race & Clinic on May 31st

Welcome to the 3rd Annual Eagle Run – A great way to start off the season with some friendly competition. The event brings together everyone to kick off the season in style and featuers a short course for recreational paddlers, a longer course for the Open Class, Kids races and even some relays and sprints to finish off the day. Here’s what to look forward to:

  • Skills Clinic with Lina Augaitis (World Champion / 3x Queen of Kalamalka)
  • Recreational Race – Easy, social paddle to and from Bishops Bird Sanctuary
  • Open Race – for the more competitive types
  • Kids Races and mini clinic – With focus on sportsmanship
  • Relays and/or sprint races – Fun, Frenzied, Heckle fest
  • Prizes, snacks, music, and good times for all

For those looking to develop new skills and hone their technique, Kalavida is proud to announce that LINA AUGAITIS (Canadian Champion/Queen of Kalamalka) will be hosting a SUP Skills Clinic prior to the race and for the general public, there are free demos throughout the day – A great chance to try out the sport for the first time and learn about the boards and equipment. It’s a family affair.
