May 29th, 2010: Starboard SUP Demo at Deep Cove
Just got off the phone with Declan from Trident Sports, and he mentioned that they’re going to be holding a Starboard Stand Up Paddleboard demo clinic down at Deep Cove Kayak tomorrow morning at 10:00AM.
Post up in the comments if you’re going to be there, I’ll try to make it as well!

I had fun paddling Starboard’s K15!! Long and Pointy which tracks well and has great glide. I hadn’t paddled it since back in March. I liked it much better than than the surf style boards which turn with every stroke. I would imagine the K15 will be fun on a downwind paddle too. I can’t wait to give it a try. You don’t have to wait for a Demo Day as Deep Cove Canoe & Kayak Rents the K15 and other Starboards out on a regular basis. $25 for two hours!

I really like the Starboard K-15 as well, just got mine on Friday!
I’ll be putting a more in-depth review on the board over the next couple weeks, but initial impressions are similar to yours… Tracks super straight and really good glide.
Not a great all-rounder, but a great board to have in the quiver for sure!
