MEC Paddlefest Vancouver: Sunday July 5th, 2009
Just caught word of this from Colleen, a fellow stand up paddleboarder in Vancouver. Though the event appears to be more focused on kayaks and canoes, they will also be hosting Stand Up Paddleboarding clinics.

Event Description
This is a family event. The event will offer opportunities to test boats and equipment from various watersports manufacturers. MEC Paddlefest will have something for every paddler, from the beginner to the expert.
Location
Jericho Sailing Centre Association. 1300 Discovery Street, Vancouver, BC. Check Translink for bus schedules, route maps, and fare information.
Pay parking in effect within park area. $1/hour and $5/all day maximum.
