Unfortunately the camera was offline for the past few weeks, but appears to be working again…

Check out the webcam’s still image, and don’t forget to check out the streaming video as well!

Image quality ain’t so hot at the time of this posting due to the cloud cover, but it’s usually pretty good.

Good stuff!

Been out daily for the past couple months and found a number of great paddling areas here in West Vancouver.

Favorites include:

Stearman Cove: Usually put in at the beach access off Ross Crescent then paddle to Tiddley Cove/Pilot House Point, then over to Sandy Cove and back. If low tide, it’s easier to put in off two small access points off Erwin Drive. They’re rockier but a much shorter walk to the edge of the water.

Dundarave: Couple good paddles going either West up towards 29th and beyond, or east towards John Lawson Park.

Ambleside: Lots of activity here and a good place to catch freighter swell as the boats pass nearby.

Tons more exploring to do over the rest of the Summer, will update as we go!
