Anybody here with some good advice for a board I can use for some easy flat water paddling (very short distance) but also for beginner-intermediate level surfing (I used to surf a bit and like to have the option to do it again with a board).
I assume inflatables won’t turn as easy so a hard board will be better I think.

Depends on the mix of surf vs touring ya wanna do, but I’d start with something like Starboard Blend or Drive, Amundson Source or Spark or Naish Nalu.

Inflatable won’t really affect turning a ton, most noticeable difference there would be in longitudinal and torsional stiffness.
