Hey folks,
I am in the planning stages of hosting a distance paddle event next August on PEI. It's called the Bridge Paddle. It will actually start in New Brunswick, and paddle to Prince Edward Island following next to the Confederation Bridge for a distance of about 13kms. The event is hosted by my shop Big Tide Paddlsurfing, and over the next few months I'll try to bring on board some sponsors for this event. We will also be raising money for a charitable cause.
I'll firm up the dates in the spring, it would be great to see as many paddlers as possible. PEI is a great vacation place. There may even be some waves on the north side of the island to go play in the day after the event.
