Hi
I've changed the date of Deep Cove's Evening SUP Race to June 29. This will be with our regular Tuesday Night Race but we will give the SUP guys a special start and Race Route. The reason for the change is that The Raven Pub is really busy on Wednesday (the original date) We will have prizing, Post Race Party and video at The Raven.
Entry is $3 and Race Start is at 7 PM. Some Rentals available.

Check out this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SIQ5qOtNP-g&feature=player_embedded

Hey taylor
There is a SUP race that might be worth mentioning in the San Juan island here is the link
Deception Pass Dash:
the upcoming Deception Pass Dash. This 4th Annual event will be held from Bowman Bay on Saturday, December 12th. This traditionally has been a kayak event, but this year they're adding a SUP category. This is a grueling paddle in an insanely scenic spot on some of the gnarliest water in the region. Weather conditions are likely to be miserable. For more info. and to register go to http://www.outdooradventurecenter.com/40227/Deception-Pass-Dash.html
Don't forget to register before November 28th in order to get a t-shirt. Also, the fee goes up from $40 to $75 after the 28th. Make sure and read all of the criteria and safety equipment required. This is not a casual paddle! However, it should be a hoot.

Cheers

Hi Bill,

Yep, the original intention of the site was to help grow the sport all over Canada, but so far it's mostly been based around the Lower Mainland (seeing as that's where I'm located) plus a few other areas around BC.

Be sure to sign up to the forums to keep in touch and meet other paddlers around.

Have a good one!

Love the Website!

If your looking for some more material to add such as pictures, events and equipment info, just let me know! I've been doing lessons in Deep Cove, and can't wait for the summer. I just want to be apart of spreading the good news of SUP as much as I can.
I also plan on setting up some trips to Seaside Oregon over the summer months. If you want some info/details to add the the website, just let me know!

Cheers
